Backyard weddings always seem to be extra awesome, it seems, but when the property rests among hundreds of beautiful, rolling acres in rural Illinois, that awesomeness increases ten fold.
Waking up on the morning of the big day, I was met with foggy breath and the sounds of happily chirping crickets. The sun was just beginning to melt the surrounding thin layer of frost as two massive pups romped around in the crisp morning air (Mike and Erin's Saint Bernard, Madi, being one of them).
Despite persistent storm clouds and threatening rain, the skies cleared up just in time for their ceremony under the trees, allowing two incredible families to become one. Backyard fixin's were served and drinks started flowin' as the sun was replaced by brilliant evening stars. It was evident, however, that not even the brightest of those cosmic sources could match the glow between Mike and Erin.
